Rupert Church of God

Pastor and Sister Davidson came to the Rupert Church of God in December of 2017 and have now been here for 4 years.  Bishop Davidson comes to us with a vision of seeing people saved, being discipled and growing and working for the Lord.  We are growing and God is blessing through the anointed leadership that the Davidson's bring to our worship and work for Christ.

Brother and Sister Davidson have 2 children Jonathan and Debra that are both married and are ministering in their respective churches mainly in music ministry.   The Davidson's also have 4 grandchildren ranging in ages from eighteen to four years of age.

Brother Davidson received his call to ministry at the age of thirteen and has been involved in ministry one way or another since that time.  He attended Seminary and afterward for six years served in the United States Navy and then was honorably discharged.  During his time in the military he met and married a local young woman named Linda Feury from White Sulphur Spings, WV.  Sister Davidson has served God from her youth and is greatly anointed to play the piano and has been an enormous blessing and asset to the ministry God has placed them in.  They have pastored many churches in West Virginia and Virginia for approximately 46 years now, and still have a heart for pastoring after 52 years of marriage.

Their belief is that the Lord Jesus will be returning shortly and what is to be accomplished for the Kingdom of God must be done quickly before it is too late.  We, the Rupert Church of God, invite you to come and be blessed by the music, the teaching and preaching, as well as anointed singing of these two people that we call our Pastors.
